Visitors and residents love the Copperopolis area for the close proximity to Lake Tulloch and Saddle Creek Golf Community. Copperopolis and Saddle Creek are very centrally located with only 1 1/2 -2 hours from the Bay Area and Sacramento. Copperopolis Town Square is a new addition to the area with shopping, dining, and services to offer convenience. As you go up the hill to Angels Camp you become aware of the beautiful topography entering the Sierra Foothills. Angels Camp is in close proximity to Lake Melones and is the home of the famous Jumping Frogs of Calaveras County Fair. Traveling further up Highway 4 you will come to Murphys and Forest Meadows. This region is surrounded by beautiful hills, wineries, and quaint towns. There's always something going on in this area. Upt the hill further is Arnold and Bear Valley Ski Area. It goes without saying that these are destination points. The area is still affordable and just a nice place to live with nice people to get to know. A place you can relax and enjoy life. Escape the Bay Area and enter a paradise.
